A workout log you just talk to

Say what you did. voisNTS notes the activity, distance and time, works out your pace and keeps your week goal and records.

Most workout apps want you to tap through forms. The Fitness list in voisNTS lets you say it: “ran 5 km in 28 minutes”, “40 minutes cycling, 15 km”, “30 minutes yoga”. For the gym there are routines: tick off your sets, see what you did last time, and get a nudge when it’s time for a bit more weight. Kilometres and kilos, or miles and pounds: you choose per list.

How it works

  1. Make the list

Lists tab → + → Fitness, then choose kilometres and kilos or miles and pounds.

  2. Log a workout

Say or type it in the field at the top: “ran 5 km in 28 minutes”, “yesterday 40 minutes cycling, 15 km”, “30 minutes yoga”. voisNTS fills in the activity, day, distance and time, and shows your pace. Or tap Add workout.

  3. Set a week goal

Tap the goal chip: for example 3 workouts or 20 km a week. The bar fills up during the week, and the 🔥 counts the weeks in a row you made it.

  4. Make a routine

Routines → New routine, e.g. “Gym A”. Add exercises by typing or saying them: “squats 3 x 8 with 60 kg”, “plank 3 x 45 seconds”.

  5. Train with it

Open the routine, tick off each set and change the weight with − and +. You see what you did last time; did you do every set, voisNTS suggests a bit more. Finish workout puts it in your log.

  6. See your progress

Stats shows this month per activity, the last 8 weeks and your records: longest run and ride, best pace over 5 and 10 km, and your heaviest weight per exercise.

  7. With Siri

Say “Log a workout in voice notes”. Siri asks “What did you do?”, you say “5 km in 28 minutes”, and it’s noted. voisNTS reads the distance and time when you open the list.

Tips

  • Days work too: “yesterday”, “Sunday 10 km”.
  • Tap a workout to change it, or to delete it.
  • Share the list for a short summary of your week.
  • Your Mac shows the log and your routines.
